RACI Matrix Generator — free online
When a project has a few people on it, things get blurry fast. Who actually does this task? Who signs off on it? Who just needs to be kept in the loop? If nobody writes it down, two people redo the same work and a third assumes someone else has it. We added a free tool that clears that up — RACI Matrix Generator — right in your browser.
What it does
You add your tasks down one side and the people or roles across the top. Then, for each task, you mark who is Responsible (does the work), Accountable (signs off), Consulted, and Informed. The grid fills in as you go, so the whole team's part is laid out in one simple table you can read at a glance.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs in your browser. Your tasks, names, and assignments stay on your computer — nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere else. When you close the tab, it's gone unless you've saved your own copy.
How to use it
- Open RACI Matrix Generator and type in your tasks and the roles or people involved.
- For each task, click the cells to set who's Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, or Informed.
- Copy or download the finished matrix and share it with your team.
