Watermark PDF — add text online, free
You're about to send a PDF, but you'd feel better with a quiet "DRAFT" or "CONFIDENTIAL" stamped across the pages first. Doing that in a heavy editor is more fuss than it's worth. We added a free tool that does it — Watermark PDF — right in your browser.
What it does
It lays your own text across every page of a PDF. You type the words, then choose the font size, the color, how see-through it is, and the angle it sits at. You can repeat it diagonally like a tile pattern, or place a single line in the middle. When it looks right, you download the new file.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs inside your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere. There's no sign-up, and your file stays on your own device from start to finish.
How to use it
- Open Watermark PDF and drop your PDF in, or click to choose one.
- Type your watermark text, then set the color, opacity and angle, and pick tiled or centered.
- Click Add watermark and download the stamped PDF.
It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
