User-Agent Parser — free online tool
Ever stared at a User-Agent string in your logs and had no idea what it actually says? It's that long line full of names and version numbers, and most people can't tell which browser or device it really means. We added a free tool that reads it for you — User-Agent Parser — right in your browser.
What it does
Paste any User-Agent string, or use your own with one click, and it breaks it down instantly: the browser and its version, the rendering engine, and the device behind it. Instead of one confusing line, you get clear, readable details you can actually use.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs in your browser. The string you paste is read right there on your computer — nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is saved. When you close the tab, it's gone.
How to use it
- Open User-Agent Parser in your browser.
- Paste a User-Agent string, or click to use your own.
- Read the parsed result — browser, version, engine and device, all in plain words.
It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
