Google SERP Snippet Preview — free online

You write a page title and a short description, hit publish, and then Google chops half of it off. The end of your sentence just disappears, and you only find out later. We added a free tool that shows you the result first — Google SERP Snippet Preview — right in your browser.

What it does

You type in your title, your meta description and your URL, and it draws a live preview of how that page would look as a Google result. You can see straight away whether the title or the description gets cut off, so you can shorten it until the whole thing fits.

Nothing leaves your device

The tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type stays on your screen — nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.

How to use it

  1. Open Google SERP Snippet Preview and type in your page title.
  2. Add your meta description and the URL.
  3. Look at the live preview and trim anything that gets cut off until it all fits.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
