Script Timing Calculator — free online tool

You finish writing a short video script, and then comes the worry: will it actually fit? You read it out loud, guess the timing, and still feel unsure when the camera is rolling. We added a free tool that takes the guessing away — Script Timing Calculator — right in your browser.

What it does

Paste your script, pick how fast you tend to speak, and it instantly tells you whether the text fits a 15, 30, or 60-second slot. You also get the word count, so you can see at a glance how much to trim or add before you record.

Nothing leaves your device

The whole thing runs in your browser. Your script is never uploaded, never saved on a server, and nobody else sees it. You can close the tab and it's gone — it stays on your computer.

How to use it

  1. Open Script Timing Calculator and paste your script into the box.
  2. Choose your speaking pace.
  3. Read the result — word count and whether it fits 15, 30, or 60 seconds — then trim or expand until it lands.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
