Recipe Schema Generator — free online tool
You wrote a great recipe, but in Google search results it looks the same as everyone else's. The pages that show a photo, a star rating and the cook time have one thing in common: they include a bit of hidden code that tells Google what the recipe is. Writing that code by hand is fiddly and easy to get wrong. We added a free tool that does it for you — Recipe Schema Generator — right in your browser.
What it does
You fill in your recipe details and it gives you valid JSON-LD structured data, the format Google reads for recipe rich cards. When the code is ready you can copy it or download it, then paste it into your page. No need to learn the format or remember which fields go where.
Nothing leaves your device
The tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type stays on your computer — nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere. Close the tab and it's gone.
How to use it
- Open Recipe Schema Generator and fill in your recipe details.
- Check the structured data it builds for you.
- Copy or download the code and paste it into your recipe page.
It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
