You send someone an invoice, the money lands, and it's a little short — the payment processor took its cut. If you want to actually receive a round number, you have to do the math backwards, and that's annoying. We added a free tool that does it for you — Payment Fee Calculator — right in your browser.
What it does
Type in the amount you're charging and pick your processor, or set your own custom rate if yours isn't listed. It shows you the fee and what's left over. Flip on Reverse mode and it works the other way: tell it the amount you want to keep, and it tells you the gross you need to charge so the fee doesn't eat into it.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is saved, and no one sees the numbers you type. Close the tab and it's gone.
How to use it
- Open Payment Fee Calculator and enter the charge amount.
- Choose your processor or set a custom rate, and switch to Reverse mode if you want to work out the gross.
- Read off the fee and the final number.
