Markup to Margin Converter — free online

You set a price, someone asks what your margin is, and suddenly you're not sure if they mean markup or margin. They sound the same, but they give different numbers, and mixing them up can quietly cost you money. We added a small free tool that sorts it out for you — Markup ↔ Margin — right in your browser.

What it does

It converts markup to margin, or margin to markup, in one step. Type a percentage and it gives you the matching one back. To make it easy to trust, it shows a worked example on $100, so you can see exactly how the numbers line up.

Nothing leaves your device

The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, saved, or sent anywhere. When you close the tab, it's gone. No account, no sign-up, just the answer.

How to use it

  1. Open Markup ↔ Margin and pick which way you're converting — markup to margin, or margin to markup.
  2. Type your percentage in the box.
  3. Read the result and the $100 example, then use the number you need.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
