Instagram Grid Planner — free online

You've got a few photos ready to post, but you're not sure what order looks best on your profile. Instagram shows them three across, so one out-of-place picture can throw off the whole feed. We added a free tool that helps with that — Instagram Grid Planner — right in your browser.

What it does

You paste in image URLs and it lays them out the same way Instagram does: three across, just like your real feed. You can drag the tiles around to try different orders until the grid looks the way you want, all before you post a single thing.

Nothing leaves your device

The whole thing runs in your browser. Your images aren't uploaded anywhere and nothing is saved on a server. When you close the tab, it's gone.

How to use it

  1. Open Instagram Grid Planner and add your image URLs.
  2. Drag the tiles to reorder them and watch the 3-wide preview update.
  3. Once the grid looks right, use that order when you post to Instagram.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
