HTTP Status Codes — free online lookup
You hit a 403 or a 502 and you're not sure what it's trying to tell you. Looking it up means digging through long docs or scrolling past ads. We added a free tool that clears it up fast — HTTP Status Codes — right in your browser.
What it does
It's a quick, searchable list of every standard HTTP status code, from 100 all the way to 511. Type a number or a word and the matching code shows up with its name and a short explanation of what it means. No more guessing what a code stands for.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole list lives inside the page and runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is saved, and you don't need an account. You can even use it with the connection off once the page is open.
How to use it
- Open HTTP Status Codes.
- Type the code number (like 404) or a word from its name in the search box.
- Read the matching code and its short description.
It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
