What it does
Paste your caption and it shows you, at a glance, how many hashtags, mentions and emojis you used, plus the character count. It tells you whether each one is within the best-practice limit for the major platforms, so you can fix it before you post instead of after.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs inside your browser. Your caption is never uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere. When you close the tab, it's gone.
How to use it
- Open Hashtag & Mention Counter and paste your caption into the box.
- Look at the counts for hashtags, mentions, emojis and characters, and see which ones are inside the limits.
- Trim or adjust anything that's over, then copy your caption and post it.
