Google Fonts Preview — free online

Picking a font is hard when all you see is a tiny name in a list. You want to know how your own words look in it, not the word "Roboto" over and over. We added a free tool that lets you do exactly that — Google Fonts Preview — right in your browser.

What it does

Type any text and watch it appear live in a curated list of Google Fonts. You can change the size and the weight, so you see your words thin, bold, big, or small until one of them just feels right.

Nothing leaves your device

The whole thing runs in your browser. Your text is never uploaded and never saved anywhere. When you close the tab, it's gone.

How to use it

  1. Open Google Fonts Preview and type the words you want to test.
  2. Adjust the size and weight until it looks the way you want.
  3. Scroll the fonts and pick the one that fits your project.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
