Favicon Generator — free online tool

You finished a site, but the little icon in the browser tab is still blank or shows a default globe. Getting that tiny picture in the right format and sizes is more fiddly than it should be. We added a free tool that does it — Favicon Generator — right in your browser.

What it does

Drop in an image or pick an emoji, and it builds a favicon.ico plus a set of icons in the common sizes. It also gives you the small HTML snippet to paste into your page, so the browser knows where to find them.

Nothing leaves your device

The whole thing runs in your browser. Your image isn't uploaded anywhere and nothing is saved on a server — it all happens on your computer, then you download the result.

How to use it

1. Open Favicon Generator and add an image or choose an emoji.
2. Let it build the favicon.ico and the icon set.
3. Download the files and copy the HTML snippet into your page.
