Favicon from a Letter — free online
You started a small website and you need that tiny icon in the browser tab, but you don't have a logo and you don't want to open a design app. A single letter on a colored square already looks clean and finished. We added a free tool that does it — Favicon from Letter — right in your browser.
What it does
Type any letter, an emoji, or one or two characters, then pick a background color. The tool draws it for you and gives you a favicon PNG to download, plus the little HTML snippet to drop into your site.
Nothing leaves your device
It all runs in your browser. Your text and color stay on your screen — nothing is uploaded anywhere and nothing is saved on a server. You can close the tab and try a hundred more.
How to use it
- Open Favicon from Letter and type your letter, emoji, or one to two characters.
- Pick a background color you like.
- Download the PNG and paste the HTML snippet into your site.
