Remove EXIF Data from Photos — free online

Every photo from your phone quietly carries hidden details — the camera, the date, and often the exact GPS spot where it was taken. Post it as-is and you may be sharing your home address without meaning to. We added a free tool that cleans all of that out — Remove EXIF / Metadata — right in your browser.

What it does

It takes your photo and removes the EXIF metadata baked into it, including the GPS location, the camera and device info, and the timestamp. The picture itself looks exactly the same — only the hidden data is gone, so it's safe to share.

Nothing leaves your device

Everything happens on your own device, inside the browser. Your photo is never uploaded to a server, nothing is saved and nothing is logged — so even private pictures stay with you.

How to use it

  1. Open Remove EXIF / Metadata.
  2. Drop in the photo you want to clean.
  3. Download the cleaned copy and post it with peace of mind.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
