What it does
You type in the selling price and the variable cost per unit. It gives you the contribution margin per unit, the margin as a percentage, and the total contribution. That tells you how much each sale really adds before fixed costs.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs in your browser. Your prices and costs are never uploaded and nothing is saved anywhere. When you close the tab, the numbers are gone.
How to use it
- Open Contribution Margin and enter your selling price.
- Add the variable cost per unit, and the quantity if you want the total.
- Read the margin per unit, the percentage and the total.
