Color Picker from Image — free online
You spot the perfect color in a photo and want to use it somewhere else, but you have no idea what its code is. Squinting at the screen never helps. We added a free tool that does it — Color Picker from Image — right in your browser.
What it does
Open a photo and click anywhere on it to read the exact color under your cursor. You get the value in HEX, RGB and HSL, so it fits wherever you need it. It also pulls out a small palette of the main colors in the picture, which is handy when you want a set that goes together.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs inside your browser. Your photo is never uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere. When you close the tab, it's gone. Your images stay on your own computer or phone.
How to use it
- Open Color Picker from Image and load your photo.
- Click a spot to read its color, or look at the palette it pulls out.
- Copy the HEX, RGB or HSL code and use it.
It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
