Legal Clause Library — free online

You're putting together a simple agreement and you get stuck on the wording. You know roughly what you need — a confidentiality line, a payment term, a notice clause — but writing it from scratch always feels harder than it should. We added a free tool that gives you a starting point — Legal Clause Library — right in your browser.

What it does

It holds a library of more than 30 standard contract clauses. You can filter them by category or search by keyword to find the one you need, then click any clause to copy it instantly. From there you paste it into your document and adjust the details to fit your situation.

Nothing leaves your device

The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is saved anywhere. You're just browsing a list and copying text, so your work stays on your own computer.

How to use it

  1. Open Legal Clause Library and browse the list, or filter by category.
  2. Type a keyword in the search box to narrow it down.
  3. Click the clause you want and it's copied — paste it into your document.

It's free with no limit. There are more small tools on the Apps page.
