Cashbook Ledger — free online tool
Keeping track of cash coming in and going out is easy to get wrong on a scrap of paper. You write a few lines, lose count, and the total never quite matches. We added a free tool that does it for you — Cashbook / Ledger — right in your browser.
What it does
You add each amount of money that comes in and each one that goes out, and the tool keeps a running balance for you as you type. When you're done it shows the closing balance. Your entries are saved on your own computer, so they're still there next time you open it.
Nothing leaves your device
The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is shared. Your entries are saved only on your own device, so your numbers stay yours.
How to use it
- Open Cashbook / Ledger.
- Add each amount in or out and watch the running balance update.
- Read your closing balance at the bottom — it's saved for next time.
